Regular catches of Snapper, Gummy Shark, Whiting, Mullet, Trevally and Salmon can be had from any one of the beaches like Peterborough Bay and Newfield Bay. Crayfish, Cod and Sweep can be caught from rocky outcrops around Peterborough. Diving and Cray Fishing at your doorstep.

Flocks of birds habituate the estuary with vast numbers of species along the coastal fringe, such as Sea Eagles, Terns, Oyster Catchers and Hooded Plovers. Binoculars are a must.

Peterborough's 9 hole Golf course is rated one of the top 10 links golf courses in Victoria, located on the seaside this has to be one of the most picturesque courses in Australia.

All enjoy Curdies River's large open stretch of calm water behind the sand dunes.
